Established in 1954, the Bay Area Manufacturers Association (BAMA) was organized to serve the collective needs of the growing Tampa Bay manufacturing community.
BAMAs mission is to provide Tampa Bay's manufacturing community with quality educational and training programs, events with high take-away value, and forums for networking and information exchange.
Custom Cable is a BAMA member in good standing and is also involved in various local and nationally recognized charity and fund raising events.
Custom Cable Industries, Inc. Assembly Division is certified under the newest TL 9000 Quality Management System certification.
The certification confirms and establishes that Custom Cable's Assembly Division processes comply with TL 9000-H R5.0/R4.0 (Product Category 7.7.3). Changes and/or additional requirements applicable to this enhanced standard were designed to ensure intended quality results, emphasize design process quality measurements, add required testing (regression, document verification, stress, abnormal condition and system), and broaden the scope of certain hardware and software requirements.
Custom Cable's certification is valid until March 3, 2014.
Custom Cable Industries, Inc's. Assembly Division is in compliance with standards set forth under ESA 9000049 for data and telecommunication cable assemblies and wiring harnesses.
ESA holds Administrative Authority under the Electricity Act 1998 and an Administrative Agreement with the Ministry of Small Business and Consumer Services. ESA is responsible for public electrical safety in Ontario as designated by Ontario Regulation 89/99.
Custom Cable obtained its ESA Registration on April 2, 2009 and is in good standing.
Custom Cable Industries Inc's. Assembly Division training curriculum, workmanship standards, and Quality Assurance Standards are based upon revision A to the IPC/WHMA-A-620 Requirements and Acceptance for Cable and Wire Harness Assemblies.
WHMA standards are globally accepted and were developed by the IPC Association Connecting Electronics Industries and the Wiring Harness Manufacturers Association (WHMA) Industry Technical Guidelines Committee.

Custom Cable Industries, Inc's. Fiber Optic Division is certified under Telcordia GR-326-CORE Issue 4.
GR-326 CORE is aimed at increasing the overall reliability of products for the demands of today's bandwidth-intensive network infrastructure. The newest release certifies optical performance at the limits of current fiber optic networks. As network technology, capacity and density increase, it is essential to comply with the latest optical connectivity certification requirements to maximize investment and ensure long term reliability.
Custom Cable obtained GR-326 certification October 6, 2010 and is in good standing.
Custom Cable Industries, Inc. is one of just twenty-seven companies to achieve the Building Industry Consulting Service International (BICSI) Prestige Platinum Contractor accreditation. Accreditation requires that at least five BICSI qualified technicians and three Registered Communications Distribution Designers (RCDD) are employed and a company certification by at least one manufacturer whose products are installed by the candidate company.
BICSI is an international association supporting the information transport systems (ITS) industry with information, education and knowledge assessments for individuals and companies.
Custom Cable's BICSI Prestige Platinum Contractor Accreditation extends through February 1, 2012.
Custom Cable Industries, Inc. is a certified minority business by the National Minority Supplier Development Council (NMSDC). The NMSDC is the gold standard for minority supplier certifications and is accepted globally.
Custom Cable is certified by and active in the Minority Supplier Development Council of PA-NJ-DE and has reciprocal certifications with the Atlanta, Southern California and Florida councils of the NMSDC.
As a result of this certification, Custom Cable offers significant tier one and tier two diversity in being the lowest cost and highest value company in its class today.
Custom Cable Industries Inc. is an active workgroup member of the QuEST Forum, a unique collaboration of service providers and suppliers dedicated to telecom supply chain quality and performance.

ISO 9001:2008 introduces clarifications to the existing requirements of ISO 9001:2000 and offers changes intended to improve consistency with other management systems standards such as ISO 14001:2004.
Custom Cable has been ISO 9001:2000 certified since March 2005 and recertified in March 2008.
Custom Cable's ISO 9001:2008 certification is valid until March 3, 2014.
Custom Cable Industries, Inc. is registered under the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) program from the Department of State, Office of Defense Trade Controls Compliance pursuant to the Arms Export Control Act (AECA).
ITAR regulates the manufacture, export, import and transfer of defense-related articles and services.
